MISSION TRIP 2007!!

I just came back from a 9-day trip to Nong Khai in Thailand! We went there to share the gospel to the people of Nong Khai, AND MAN, WAS IT A GOOD EXPERIENCE!! This trip costed $700 per person. It occurs every year and I wanted to go last year but my parents did'nt allow me. And so, I was so excited about it this year! My team leader was Charrisa and our team had lots of fun! It was truely a good experience. We managed to bring many people to Christ and we also had lots of fun doing the skits we needed to show to the little Nongnongs (kids in Thai). (: I could really feel the presence of God during that trip and what was so amazing was that each time I had to do my Quiet Time and read the bible, Whatever I read, it would speak to me the next day!! It was soooo awesome! We also saw miraculous healings too! During that trip I also felt the attacks of the devil so strongly.. it mainly used discouragement to attack me and there was a day I was really feeling down and out but God assured me that he will always be with me. During the trip we also went to many temples and the "idol garden" to prayer walk. Even though I know many people say don't make fun of spiritual things, I could'nt stop myself from thinking how ridiculous some of the idols and stories seemed to me..

On the last day of mission trip, we went SHOPPING! like all the other last days of mission trips.. It was fun! and we all enjoyed ourselves....but...someone in my team called Rachel had her valuables stolen, including her Passport!! So we prayed and through miracles she was stil able to catch the flight back home to Singapore. If she missed that flight, the next one would be in January!! So Praise God that she was able to go back home safely. Mission Trip was TRUELY AWESOME, and I look forward to oncoming mission trips.
