Alright, the scrabble competition was horrible. In the end, didnt win anything cos one guy lost 4 out of 5 matches. I won 4 out of 5 matches, but still, if last round anyone lost, we can forget abt winning anything.. and one guy lost. Im not blamming him la. gah, woke up at 6am for nothing...
anyway, theres 2 matches i shall mention about!
1 match, I own!!! My final spread (the difference between mine and opponent's score, '+' = i got more, '-' = opponent got more) for that match was +446!!!!!! TIO OWN!!! cos I made a 92 point move, cos it was a bingo. pics below, go search for the bingo ( bingo = 7 letter word). It's 'cleaved'. Oh, the pics r slanted, i dun bother to turn it, so tilt ur head a little.
that was against queenstown secondary I think.
Oh, one more! SNGS (St Nicolas Girl's School) is the first girls sch that proved to me that they r smart. But I still won them. lol. Guess what my spread was.. it was +1! yay, pro right? lol. cos I ended with a 'g' so I minus 2 points, she plus 2, then ended up I got 1 more score than her. lol
The only one I lost to was to Hwa Chong I think. They r good, seriously.
Anyway, take a look at the world's biggest (I think) scrabble board used in a competition.
It was later used for a friendly matched between MHA (ministry of Home Affairs) and combined sec sch. Each team had 4 players. so 4 brains, and they took sooo long to make lame moves. I bet its all prepared alr luh, I bet they didnt even shuffle at all, I mean, the mha know the 2 letter words eh, and they both each did 1 bingo so fast luh. so fake. anyway, CSS (combined sec sch) won in the end by like a few points only. I dont care, I still find it fake.
Okay.. in the end, I think I wasted my Sunday.
